For as long as I can remember I’ve had an interest in art. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. At the age of five, my parents had me participate in art lessons. When I was ten years old, I started my evening painting lessons in the Pioneers Palace in Kyiv. There I took part in children’s art shows. In 1990, I moved with my family to Israel. There, I worked in the police and the army for several years, but I always practiced art as a hobby. In Israel, I designed aquariums by order for others. I got the idea to use a type of material for aquarium designs. Here in Canada, I decided to use the same material in my paintings, and in February of 2017, I started painting in Canada and including the material within many of my paintings. I have participated in an international art show in Moscow, as well as exhibits in The United States, Israel, Russia, and Canada among other locations. Several of my artworks use a special 3D author’s technique.
